In just a few short days the 2019 12 Days of Christmas will kick-off! Projects, gift guides, recipes and more will be shared by over 50 bloggers over 4 weeks (3 posts per week). But, before that starts, it is important to acknowledge Thanksgiving! To keep myself organized for Thanksgiving and still continue to work on my Christmas projects, I created a Fall Party Planner.
Hectic Holiday Season
We don’t travel during the holidays, something IronFish and I decided on when the girls were very young. It’s not that we don’t want to see family, but that we would rather be able to relax and reduce the stress of an already hectic holiday season.
Sometimes family comes to us. Sometimes we visit family between holidays. Often, we enjoy seeing family during the year at times not associated with holidays.
This past year I’ve returned to paper planning.
After learning how to organize everything I’ve got going on in my life into binders, I started to gain control of everything I have going on. Then I took a time management course that changed my life!
Yes, I will be sharing both of those tools with you in the future.
It’s because of this, I created my own binder for Thanksgiving and other fall parties.
Fall Party Planner – Printable Binder
You may remember some printables I created last year for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I shared about them here and made them available in the Domestic Deadline Market.
That was my starting point but the new bundle takes it even farther.
Everything you need to plan, organize and pull off a great fall or Thanksgiving event and officially be the Hostess with the Mostest!
Print out all the planning pages and create your own binder, keeping everything together.
Start with the party planning worksheet jot down your ideas. Use the invite tracker and 3 card options to let your guests know the details.
Then, move on to the menu planner. Three different recipe pages are included in the bundle. Full page, 2-per page, and 2 cards per page… perfect for sharing your recipes with guests.
The grocery shopping list will help you shop for everything you need.
Finally, the food prep schedule helps you plan when to start each recipe. From a few days before to the hours the day of! This is my saving grace every year, otherwise, I never manage to get everything done at the same time.
Fall Party Planner and More
Want to pull off a simple but coordinated look for your Thanksgiving or fall party?
I’ve got you covered with more printables!
Print the custom wine, beer, and water bottle labels to dress up the beverage options. Or use the stickers for your guests to label their cups!
Tent cards help your guests know the food options… With two gluten-free family members, this helps us keep track there too!
Get solid colored paper plates and napkins to coordinate with the stickers and labels for an informal event. Hosting something a bit more formal? Place cards and thank you cards are also included.
Finally, when it’s time to wrap up the leftovers, use the coordinating leftover labels, perfect when sending guests home with homemade yumminess.
Get Organized!
The Fall Party Planner is great for Thanksgiving, football or anything fall-related.
My guest list is only a few family members, but I’ve got everything planned out. With the 12 Days of Christmas starting this week, I need to be on top of my game. Plus, IronFish and I are taking JuneBug on a college visit to LSU just before Thanksgiving! The trip will cut into my prep time, but I’ve already got everything planned out so I can enjoy Thanksgiving with my family.
