Gift Ideas for the New Cricut Owner
I have a bit of a secret to share… I actually got my Cricut Maker for my birthday… in MAY! Once it arrived, I realized I was totally intimidated by it. So the truth is, I really only starting getting into using it for projects very recently. Now that I have, I’m totally hooked on my new crafting toy.
And as I’ve begun to learn more about my Cricut and the projects I can make with it, I’m finding some great gifts I can get for myself! I mean, my family can give me for Christmas (won’t they be surprised).
Cricut, Silhouette, Brother or any of the other electronic cutting tools on the market will make an amazing holiday gift to the crafter on your list. If they already have one, or you know they are getting one, here are several other great ideas they will enjoy.
Gifts for the new Cricut Owner

This cart is the perfect size to hold a cutting machine and tons of supplies. Plus, it's on wheels, making it easy to use and store
Once you start using your cutting machine, it's easy to see why having more than one of each type of mat comes in handy. Grab this multipack until you know which types of mats you use the most.
Cricut often has great sales. As of post date, buy 3 get 3 free is a great way to get some material variety packs
I didn't truly understand the need for weeding tools when I first got my Cricut. The Cricut brand ones are great but I also really like this set.
These were some of the first tumblers I experimented with and I love them! Any Cricut owner will eventually want to print on tumblers, they make a great personalized gift.
Bet you're wondering why this is on the list? These hooks are great for hanging cutting mats on the wall to keep them organized and out of the way when not in use.
I'm already planning on making myself one of these but receiving one pre-made would be a great gift and helpful when applying vinyl to tumblers, water bottles, wine glasses, and more.
Blank tote bags are another great gift for the new Cricut owner. Making custom tote bags for gifts or sale is one of the many fun things a cutting machine can do.
Give the gift of digital images! While this may not be a physical gift to wrap, SVG files expand the options for projects on electronic cutting machines like the Cricut. Cricut also offers a monthly membership called Cricut Access. If your new Cricut owner hasn't gotten the membership yet, I highly recommend it.
