Surviving the Holidays

I do love Christmas. But, when asked what my favorite part is, my answer might surprise you.

It’s January.

Yes, January. Now you’re probably wondering why?

Well, January signifies that I’ve made it.

I’ve survived.

And by then, I’m perfectly happy to pack up my tree and Christmas decorations. I’m ready for life to slow down, at least a little.

My secret to surviving the holidays?

PLANNING!

And… knowing that even though I have a plan, things will change and it’s all okay.

Over the years I’ve gotten better at planning. This year I put together a 52-page binder to really keep myself on track.

I’m giving it to you for free!

While my family celebrates Christmas, I know it’s not the only holiday this time of year so all but one page is non-denominational.

Plus, the planner starts now so you can begin planning today all the way past the new year.

Planning

Planning and keeping everything I need together really is my secret to surviving the holidays.

It’s my secret to surviving life!

Over the years, I’ve tried several different planners. I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a planner junkie!!! One of my favorites for a while was the Purple Trail Planner. It still is my favorite way to my own planner and have it delivered to me printed and ready to go.

The problem for me is I want SO MUCH in a planner. And, as the year goes on, I begin to realize there are other things I want or need for my planning.

It’s for this reason I’ve moved to a printable binder for my planner. I can move pages, add sheets and make adjustments as the weeks and months roll by.

Maybe someday I’ll design my own perfect printable planner. Of course, I’m still evolving and learning exactly what I want in a planner.

So, the printable planner I’m currently using is designed by my friend Sara. Like me, she has more than one business/job and the kids outnumber the parents.

Right now Sara is offering her 2020 Live Beyond Satisfied Planner for about 20% off plus you get November and December 2019 for free (until November 15th, 2019). AND you can use my code for another 10% off!

Check out this page by page view of most of the 2020 calendar. Order the 2020 Live Beyond Satisfied Planner and use the coupon code DomesticDeadline for an additional 10% off anything in her shop.
