T minus 18 days until my kiddos go back to school! I know lots of kids have already gone back and many will go back before mine do. Let’s face it, summer is coming to a close. But, back to school is like Mom’s New Year, a fresh start for the kids and a new routine for moms. In honor of this most wonderful time of year (can you see the Staple’s commercials now?) Back to School
Summer is really a wonderful time for our family. Because of my part-time job, I don’t work much in the summer. I’m home when the kids are home. Even though the girls will both be in high school this year, and think they don’t need me as much… I still like to be available if they need me.
Plus, aside from travel, we often like to do some projects around the house and the kids help. Three summers ago the kids got to paint their own bedrooms!
So, while we have enjoyed sleeping in and not needing to get up for school, we’ve also been busy. And, we’re getting ready to go back to school.
The girls’ custom planners have arrived and they have new 8-colored pens and markers for making planning fun.
