IronFish has wanted a bar in this house since we moved. With the last room scheduled for renovation, his request has moved closer to the top of the to-do list. So when NewAir gifted me the 15″ Premium Dual Zone 9 Bottle and 48 Can Wine/Beverage Fridge, I knew it would be the perfect addition to our design. Thanks to NewAir for providing me with the Premium Dual Zone 9 Bottle and 48 Can Wine/Beverage Fridge. All opinions expressed in this post are my own. @newairusa #newairusa #ShareYourNewAir
NewAir 15″ Premium Dual Zone 9 Bottle and 48 Can Beverage/Wine Fridge Review
This was the perfect early Christmas gift for IronFish! Every year we have a Christmas Eve party for our church family. We pull up coolers from the basement for beer, soda, and water.
It works for the evening.
But sometimes we like to have beverages handy without having coolers full of ice sitting around the house!
We have a mini-fridge in the office, tucked inside the credenza.
The huge full-size built-in fridge and freezer in the kitchen holds tons. But, put a few cases of soda and some bottles of wine and it doesn’t take long to run out of space.
Having a dedicated beverage fridge is the perfect solution.
Right now, the NewAir 15″ Premium Built-In Dual Zone 9 Bottle and 48 Can Wine and Beverage Fridge is tucked neatly at the end of our kitchen counter.
The top is filled with drinks for the kids! Soda, green tea, electorate drinks. We aren’t big soda drinkers, most of the time we have cans of sparkling flavored water stashed in the garage. But, with the break from school, having drinks for the kids to offer their guests is really nice.
The bottom of the fridge holds bottles of wine perfectly. Right now, I have a few bottles of white wine tucked in the middle. “Kid wine” or sparkling grape juice is chilling for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals. Ever since the girls were little, this has been a special part of holiday meals.
In addition to the dual-zone temperature control, there is another favorite feature. Key lock! The fridge comes with a key and the ability to lock the fridge.
I trust my kids. But, the ability to lock a fully stocked beer and wine fridge is a great feature.
New Bar Plans
In our old house, we had a built-in beverage area in the kitchen. The space lent itself to an area perfectly used for housing a wine rack, glassware, coffee and mugs, and a mini-fridge.
Putting a mini-fridge in the credenza of IronFish’s office seemed like the perfect plan at the time.
But, IronFish has been craving a dedicated bar space, especially now that the kitchen is fully finished. With the bathroom renovations nearing the finish line, it’s time to look at bar plans.
IronFish and I both have a few ideas. We’re going to draw them up and share our ideas here in the next few weeks.
